Our story started when I was a little
boy growing up in Holly Springs, Mississippi. Yep..
that’s me.

My momma used to always make banana
pudding. As a child, I couldn’t wait to get home
before she started making it because she would
always let me lick the spoon. Yum…Yum.
When we moved to Memphis, Tennessee
when I was thirteen, my mom continued making my
favorite dessert, banana pudding.
There’s my momma,
Polly Rodgers

She has passed on
now, but through me her
legacy will continue.
When I joined the
Navy and married and had a family, I wanted to
make banana pudding for my family.
When stationed in San Diego,
I called my mom to get her
recipe.

work
Yes…the tradition
continued. Like I did, my two daughters, Riza
and Gin-Gin, loved licking the spoon. In fact,
I became known as the banana pudding man. At
every function, people wanted and expected me to
bring a banana pudding dessert.
